At Ashtanga Yoga Weston, we believe deeply that the transformative practice of Ashtanga Yoga is not reserved for the already-flexible, the supremely strong, or the spiritually enlightened. It is a birthright for every human being who seeks a more grounded, peaceful, and vibrant life.
Your age, size, fitness level, or background does not define your place here. Whether you are taking your first breath on a mat or have been practicing for years, you are welcome. We celebrate diversity and are committed to providing a supportive, non-competitive environment where everyone can explore their own potential without judgment. Your practice is yours alone, and we are here to guide you in making it sustainable and empowering.
The true power of Ashtanga Yoga lies not in touching your toes, but in what you learn on the way down. This methodical, breath-centered practice is a moving meditation. By synchronizing movement with breath (vinyasa), we gently draw the senses away from the chaos of the outside world and into the stillness of the present moment.
The repetitive, flowing sequence becomes a anchor for a busy mind. With each practice, we cultivate mindfulness—the ability to observe our thoughts and physical sensations without being swept away by them. We learn to meet challenge with breath, not panic, and to find ease within effort. This clarity and resilience don't end when you roll up your mat; they become tools you carry into your daily life, helping you navigate stress with greater grace and intention.
We honor the traditional Ashtanga method while understanding that every "body" is unique. Our expert instructors are dedicated to helping you find intelligent and accessible variations, using props and modifications to ensure your practice is both challenging and safe. The goal is not a perfect pose, but a connected and honest practice that serves you.
We invite you to begin exactly as you are. Let your journey of self-discovery, stress relief, and profound inner strength start here.
— Ashtanga Yoga Weston

My journey with yoga began many years ago, leading me to explore various styles before I found the disciplined practice of Ashtanga in 2019. I was drawn to its transformative power that helps bring mental clarity and a more grounded, mindful approach to daily life. My passion is for making the traditional Ashtanga method accessible and beneficial for every student, regardless of their starting point.
My formal training includes Ashtanga teacher mentorship under authorized teachers in Savannah, GA. I have completed my 200 RYT with Online Yoga School in 2020 and 500 RYT with Authentic Movements in 2023. My dedication to a holistic practice extends beyond the mat; I incorporate daily breathwork and meditation, having studied traditional Ashtanga pranayama alongside other breathwork techniques. This practice has been essential in teaching me to find stillness and calm amidst the rush of life.
To further deepen my understanding of movement, I have spent the last five years training in cirque arts, including handstands, flexibility, and backbends. This complementary training has helped my yoga practice and allows me to bring a unique perspective to alignment and strength-building.
Having worked in healthcare for almost 20 years, I have found these practices to be very important in maintaining a calm, clear mind. So many times I had to suppress my humanly emotions to just move on to the next task. I had to take my mental health into my own control. I am excited to share the things I have learned to hopefully help you live a more fulfilling life with clarity.
I view yoga as a powerful, personal journey, and I am thrilled to share my knowledge with you. I am forever a student, constantly learning. My goal is to provide a supportive practice and help you explore, reflect, and grow through your own practice. I want to build a community for mindfulness through ashtanga, mediation and breathwork.
